Inhalt

Information:
Die Kokosnuss ist mit Reliefschnitzereien auf einem mit dichter Schraffur überzogenen Grund versehen. In drei Bildfeldern, die durch stilisierte Pflanzenmotive von einander getrennt sind, erscheinen die aufrecht stehenden oder schreitenden Figuren zweier afrikanischer Krieger und eines Häuptlings mit ihren Waffen. Die Kokosnuss ist an der oberen Spitze mit einer kleinen, runden Öffnung versehen; daneben wurde die Jahreszahl 1692 angebracht. Diese reich geschmückte Kokosnuss erhielt zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt unten eine Silberfassung und wurde mit einem Elfenbeinputto als Trägerfigur kombiniert. Der rundliche, unbekleidete Putto steht auf einem runden Sockel und trägt auf dem Kopf ein üppiges Gebilde aus Früchten und Blättern.
