Beschreibung:: Fotoabzug nach einer Aufnahme der Fratelli Alinari, Florenz; Aufnahme zeigt das Kolosseum in Rom (Amphitheatrum Novum oder Amphitheatrum Flavium, 72-80 n. Chr.), mutmaßlich aus einer Sammlung von Fotografien der Fratelli Alinari (1870-85).
Horst Keller erwähnt in einer "Rede auf das Allmers-Heim" 1958 die "unvergänglichen Photographien der Firma Alinari." (Jb. der MvM 40 [1959], S. 100) - möglicherweise Bezug auf diese und weitere großformatige Fotografien von Landschaften und Stadtansichten aus Florenz und Italien im NHA (T. Mahler 06/2025)

V. und werden in zwei Teilen an zwei Standorten verwahrt: Die (museale) Sammlung, bestehend aus Mobiliar und Hausgerät, Tafelgemälden, kleineren und größeren Antiken, Gipsabgüssen, kunsthandwerklichen Objekten aus Keramik und Glas und einer kleinen Bibliothek, befindet sich im Allmers-Haus in Rechtenfleth. Der literarische, grafische und fotografische "Nachlass Hermann Allmers" hingegen ist im Archiv des Landkreises Cuxhaven in Otterndorf deponiert.
