Hochovales Portrait des zweijährigen Ferdinand Theodor Sievers im Profil nach der rechten Seite: Der Dargestellte steht an einem Tisch, auf dem ein Becherglas mit Blumen steht. Das Kind hält drei Blumen in seiner rechten Hand.
Der Dargestellte trägt einen blauen Rock mit Spitzenkragen.
Der Hintergrund der Darstellung ist monochrom grau - hinter dem Rücken grünlich-grau, rechts vom Dargestellten schwarz-grau..
Im oberen Teil des Bildes befindet sich eine blonde Haarlocke.
Das Bild befindet sich in einem ovalen, Holzahmen mit geprägtem Metallbeschlag. (Städtisches Museum Braunschweig)
