Sammlung und Nachlass Hermann Allmers sind Eigentum der Hermann-Allmers-Gesellschaft e. V. und werden in zwei Teilen an zwei Standorten verwahrt: Die (museale) Sammlung, bestehend aus Mobiliar und Hausgerät, Tafelgemälden, kleineren und größeren Antiken, Gipsabgüssen, kunsthandwerklichen Objekten aus Keramik und Glas und einer kleinen Bibliothek, befindet sich im Allmers-Haus in Rechtenfleth. Der literarische, grafische und fotografische "Nachlass Hermann Allmers" hingegen ist im Archiv des Landkreises Cuxhaven in Otterndorf deponiert.
