Inhalt

Information:
Im Jahre 1806 schuf der französische Kaiser Napoléon I. das Königreich Holland. Sein Bruder Louis Napoléon Bonaparte übernahm dort die Herrschaft. Der Kaiser war jedoch nicht damit zufrieden, wie sein Bruder das neue Königreich verwaltete. Im Jahre 1810 löste er das Königreich Holland auf. Es wurde Frankreich einverleibt.

Die Herrschaften Jever und Knyphausen gehörten zum Königreich Holland als kurzlebigem Staatsgebilde. Holländisches Geld wurde so vorübergehend zur dortigen Landeswährung.
