Inhalt

Information:: Schuldforderung des Heinrich von Halle und Johann Klenke und des Grafen Jobst von Schaumburg über 6000 und 3000 Goldgulden an Herzog Heinrich den Jüngeren.
Der Schandbrief, auch Schandgemälde, ist ein spätmittelalterlicher Rechtsersatz kleiner Leute zum Konfliktaustrag gegenüber Mächtigen, mittels dem durch schriftliche oder bildliche Verunglimpfung Herkunft, Ehre und Leumund eines Wortbrüchigen oder eines Schuldners mit unflätigen Ausdrücken geschändet wurde. Derartige offene Schmähschriften oder -bilder wurden gemeinhin am Pranger, an Kirchentüren oder am Rathaus angeschlagen.
