Information:
Ansichtskarte in Form eines Originalfotos mit bedruckter RS. Sie zeigt die Ansicht des Marktplatzes in Einbeck, mit Blick auf die Bebauung der Nordseite in Höhe der Ratsapotheke und der beiden östlich angrenzenden Gebäude. Die Häuser sind festlich mit Kränzen und Girlanden geschmückt, am Rand des Platzes steht eine große Menschenmenge, darunter zahlreiche Kinder.
Auf dem Platz ist das sog. Junggesellen-Corps angetreten, in Uniform: weiße weite Hosen, Gehrock, Zylinder und weißen Handschuhen. Alle präsentieren den obligaten Schmucksäbel, der zur Ausstattung der Junggesellen gehört. 3 "Offiziere" zu Pferde paradieren vor der Front der angetretenen Junggesellen. Sie tragen kurze Jacken mit Epauletten und einen Zweispitz mit weißem Federbusch. Am linken Bildrand steht ein weiterer Offizier mit Fahne, ein 5. Mann in Unifom mit Pickelhaube schreitet die Front der angetretenen Junggesellen ab. (Stadtmuseum Einbeck)

  • Chap. VI. By comparing which with the former, the Reader may possibly correct some Abuse which he hath formerly been guilty of, in the Application of the Word Love.
  • Chap. VIII. Containing Matter rather natural than pleasing.
  • Chap. IX. Which, among other Things, may serve as a Comment on that Saying Aeschines, that Drunkenness Shews The Mind Of A Man, As A Mirror Reflects His Person.
  • Chap. X. Shewing the Truth of many Observations of Ovid, and other more grave Writers, who have proved, beyond Contradiction, that Wine is offen the Fore-runner of Incontinency.
  • Chap. XI. In which a Smile in Mr. Pope's Period of a Mile, intorduces as bloddy a Battle as can possibly be fought without the Assistanc of Steel or cold Iron.
  • Chap. XII. In which is seen a more moving Spectacle, than all the Blodd in the Bodies of Thwackum and Blifil and of Twenty other such, is capable of producing.
