Information:: Beschreibung der Pläne, S. 134: Figur II. „Das zweite Bild zeigt uns einen kleinen Raum von nur 40 Fuß Breite und noch weniger Tiefe, welcher auf die einfachste Weise zu einem reinen Ziergärtchen eingerichtet ist. Derartige kleine Gärtchen kommen in Städten häufig vor und dienen, wenn sie nicht mit Nutzgewächsen angepflanzt werden, als lieblicher Aufenthalt unter freiem Himmel, wenn man nicht gerade durch einen größeren Spaziergang außerhalb der Stadt sich zu ergehen Luft oder Zeit hat. […]“
