An der einen Kante ist eine flachere Retuschierung vorhanden, die möglicherweise auf eine ehemals vorgesehene Verwendung als Schaber hindeuten könnte. Es sind ebenfalls keine Abrollspuren vorhanden, jedoch ist eine leichte Glanzpatinierung festzustellen. (Gerken/Breest 2004; Kreisarchäologie Rotenburg)
