Links steht der Mann, seine Arme hängen herab. Rechts davon, leicht an den Mann gelehnt, die junge Frau. Während ihr rechter Arm hinter seinen Rücken geführt ist, hat sie die linke Hand schulterhoch erhoben. Beider Blicke sind auf diese Hand gerichtet. (Städtisches Museum Braunschweig)
