Die Insel liegt zwischen der Giudecca und Fusina. Das Kloster bestand von 1000 bis 1806. Nach 1810 diente es bis zum Zweiten Weltkrieg als Festung und wurde danach als Steinbruch verwendet. Im Vordergrund sind ein großes Ruderboot und mehrere kleinere Boote zu sehen. (Städtisches Museum Braunschweig)
