Das Streichbrett ist aus Holz, lediglich Scharmesser und Kamm im Pflugbaum zum Festhaken des Vorderwagens sind handgeschmiedet aus Eisen.
Nach der Herkunftsgegend wurde dieser Pflug auch "Horneburger Pflug" genannt. (Heimatmuseum Obernfeld)
