Gewicht: 11,1 g</mods:extent></mods:physicalDescription><mods:abstract>Tobias Müller konnte bei einer Suche mit der Metallsonde einen Beschlag aus Buntmetall bergen. Das Objekt weist eine kaffeebohnenförmige plastische Erhebung im Zentralbereich auf. Es entspricht einem römischen Pferdegeschirrbeschlag mit Vulvaverzierung. Derartige Stücke sind im gallisch-germanischen Gebiet bei römischen Auxiliareinheiten um das 3. Jahrhundert verbreitet (Oldenstein 1976, 138-139 und Taf. 34). Die Form der Grundplatte ist aufgrund des fragmentarischen Zustandes nicht zu bestimmen. In nur 300 m Entfernung wurde 1977 ein römischer Solidus des Kaisers Valentinian (364–375) gefunden (Hesedorf FStNr. 83). (Stefan Hesse 04/2025)
