Die Vorderseite aus Kunststoff ist mit mehreren Schrauben an der Rückseite aus Metall befestigt. Auf blauem Grund befindet sich das gelbe Schleifenlogo "Edeka", dass bis 1965 verwendet wurde.
Am unteren, linken Rand befindet sich in einem auf die Spitze gestellten Qudrat eine stilisierte Sonne und die textliche Darstellung "EDEKA".
