Plausibel erscheint die skizzenhafte Anfertigung des Stahlstichs während des Aufenthalts Frommels in Italien von 1812 bis 1817, wo HA selbst den offenbar nicht veröffentlichten Druck während seiner Italienreise (1858-1860) lokal erworben haben könnte (auch eigene Handzeichnung Ariccias von HA [6.2.329i] in seinem Skizzenheft III [6.2.329/330]) (T. Die (museale) Sammlung, bestehend aus Mobiliar und Hausgerät, Tafelgemälden, kleineren und größeren Antiken, Gipsabgüssen, kunsthandwerklichen Objekten aus Keramik und Glas und einer kleinen Bibliothek, befindet sich im Allmers-Haus in Rechtenfleth.
