Anmerkung:
Zur Enthülsung des Getreides vor dem Mahlen dienen Getreideenthülsungsmaschinen und  Getreideschälmaschinen, letztere besteht aus zwei Mühlsteinen von Sandstein, von denen der obere beweglich und an den unteren Stein befestigt ist. Die Getreidekörner fallen aus einem Trichter auf die concave Fläche des unteren Steins, werden an einem Reiber von Blech angedrückt und mit diesem enthülst.
