Der Ort gehört heute zu Polen, er heißt heute Nawojów Śląski.
Der Gips kommt dort in Form von Plattendolomit vor.

Anmerkung zum Ort:
Haugsdorf ist eine alte deutsche Siedlung, ihre erste urkundliche Erwähnung als Huisdorf ist am 11.11.1233 in einer Urkunde der Stadt Naumburg. In der Gegend um (Schles.) Haugsdorf findet man San, Ton Kalkstein, Gips und Rotliegendes.
