Information:
Im Jahr 1797 erhält Professor kCarl Ludwig Tscharner eine Konzession für eine Gipsfabrik in Leissigen. 1903 wir die Gipsunion AG in Zürich gegründet, ein Zusammenschluß von 18 regionalen Gipsfabriken. 1998 hat die Rigips AG die Nachfolge der Gipsunion AG  Leissigen angetreten.
