Anmerkung:
Eine Glockenmühle ist eine Vorrichtung zum Zerkleinern von Rinden (Lohe), Wurzeln, Farbhölzern u. dgl., besteht der Hauptsache nach (s. Abbildung) aus einem glockenförmigen hohlen Hartgußkörper, mit schraubenförmig verlaufenden Riffeln und einem inwendig ebenso geriffelten Hartgußmantel, mit Aufschütterumpf. Durch Drehung des Mahlkörpers erfolgt die allmähliche Zerkleinerung des eingeworfenen Materials.
