Anmerkung:
1884 war auf diesem Gelände am Westerborn (Duderstadt)  eine Zuckerfabrik errichtet worden, die jedoch keinen wirtschaftlichen Erfolg hatte. Nach der Liquidation der Aktiengesellschaft "Zuckerfabrik Duderstadt" im Jahre 1896 wurde die Fabrik noch 10 Jahre lang weitergeführt. Es war sogar Genehmigung für einen Anschluss an die Bahnstrecke erteilt worden. Später ist auf dem Gelände eine Feilenfabrik gebaut worden.
