Anmerkung zum Pumpentyp:
Eine Plungerpumpe (Tauchkolbenpumpe) ist eine Kolbenpumpe, hat jedoch anstatt eines scheibenartigen einen langgestreckten Kolben, der der Pumpe ihren Namen gibt - den Plunger (engl. für: Tauchkolben, Ventilkolben).
Durch die Aufwärtsbewegung des Plungers öffnet sich aufgrund der Saugwirkung das Saugventil und Wasser gelangt in den Pumpenraum. Bei der Abwärtsbewegung schließt sich das Saugventil durch sein Eigengewicht und das Druckventil öffnet sich, wobei Wasser in das Druckrohr gedrückt wird.
