Gewicht: 1,3 g</mods:extent></mods:physicalDescription><mods:abstract>Bernd Gössling fand in einer Siedlung bei Groß Meckelsen ein Buntmetallfragment, das als Kopf- oder Fußplattenrest einer gleicharmigen Kerbschnittfibel zu deuten ist. Der Randbereich ist mit Kerbschnitt verziert. Im Eckbereich ist ein plastisch hervortretender, stark stilisierter Tierkopf mit langem Hals zu erkennen. Vermutlich handelt es sich um eine Fibel des Typs Sahlenburg, wobei der anzunehmende Spiralrankenkerbschnitt nicht flächig auftritt, was ansonsten für diesen Typ charakteristisch ist.
