Die Anfertigung der Zeichnungen wird in den "Römischen Schlendertagen" und seinen Briefen vielfach erwähnt. (A. Behne 03 / 2020)

Die (museale) Sammlung, bestehend aus Mobiliar und Hausgerät, Tafelgemälden, kleineren und größeren Antiken, Gipsabgüssen, kunsthandwerklichen Objekten aus Keramik und Glas und einer kleinen Bibliothek, befindet sich im Allmers-Haus in Rechtenfleth.
