An den Seiten sind tiefe Schlitze damit man die Kaffeekanne von oben in den Wärmer stellen kann. Oben wird der Wärmer mit Hilfe eines Zugbandes geschlossen. Das schwarze Zugband wird durch vier Metallösen gezogen. (Stadtmuseum Einbeck)
