Runde, bronzene Medaille zum Anstecken mit erhöhtem Rand. Mittig ein Genfer Kreuz. Auf den vier Kreuzarmen ist jeweils eine preußische Königskrone angebracht. In den Kreuzwinkeln von links nach rechts die Buchstaben WR (Wilhelm Rex) oben und AV (Auguste Viktoria) unten.
Rückseitig am linken Rand ein Eichenlaubzweig und daneben die vierzeilige Inschrift.
Oben eine quer angelötete Öse mit Bandring. Das Band ist rot mit schwarzen und weißen Seitenstreifen. Hinten befindet sich eine Sicherheitsnadel. (Stadtmuseum Einbeck)
